Description

The collection contains two photo albums and a folio of 5 loose photographs from an unknown compiler, probably haling from Washington State. Includes approximately 173 photographs dating from circa 1898-1920, documenting the Gold Rush centered along the lower Klondike River, particularly working claims on Bonanza Creek and nearby Dawson City, Yukon Territories. Additional images are of families posing informally, of prospectors in make-shift cabins and mining operations and conditions.
