Description

Letter from Cyrus Stone to his younger brother Perley Davis Stone admonishing him for not writing, and wondering if Perley's marital state is preventing him from doing so. He proceeds to tell his brother about the various activities of other family members and his studying philosophy and astronomy. He then, continues to to tell his brother that he has also been doing some missionary work among the poor and the not so poor. He concludes with observations about the state of Dartmouth College after the resignation of President Dana.
