Description
Letter from Daniel Blaisdell, treasurer of Dartmouth College, to William Cogswell in which he explains his reasoning for not purchasing the pews, offered by Mrs. Searle because the College has enough pews to accommodate all the students. In response Cogswell writes a letter to Hardy Ropes who has the deed in his possession. The second letter is on the back of the first one.
