The collection contains photographs, publicity material, clippings, and reports related to SIPRE's research in Greenland between 1953 and 1961. Of note are the photographs, which document work in Greenland at Camp Tuto, a major US Army operated research camp at the foot of the Greenland ice cap. Topics covered include trafficability, trail making, snow structures, patterned ground and ice cap drilling techniques.
