Description

A photo album with images of depression-era skiing and hiking with the Dartmouth Outing Club. The photographs depict individual skiers in action, as well as groups of young men hiking, and views of areas in the White Mountains including Lafayette, Pinkham Notch, Mt. Liberty and Mt. Washington. In addition photographs were taken on Mt. Monadnock, Mt. Moosilauke, Newfound Lake and at the Harvard Ski Race on Mt. Washington in 1933. Skiers and hikers identified are Sam Powell, John White, Bud Ritchie, and Sandy Holden.
