Douglas Coonrad oral history interview

Douglas V. Coonrad, Class of 1967. Oral history interview documenting his college experience, including participation in the Dartmouth Outing Club (DOC) (specifically climbing) and the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC); flight training and his time on an air base in Da Nang, Vietnam; his service in the Philippines; and the effect of the war after returning to the United States. Specifically, Coonrad discusses his job as a lawyer and community member, dealings with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and as a post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) counselor.
