James Goldstone papers May be restricted
Description
The papers of James Goldstone contain screenplays, production material including cast and crew lists, production reports, call sheets, set photographs, shooting schedules, correspondence, contracts, agreements, publicity, posters, clippings and reviews. The material documents Goldstone’s career as director, producer and screenwriter of feature films and episodic and long form television shows. The collection also includes unproduced screenplays and project ideas by Goldstone and others, many with notes by Goldstone. UMatic video tapes of his productions, as well as reel-to-reel audio and cassette tapes with music cues, scores and source music are also included, as is one box of student work from his time teaching in the film studies department of Columbia University. Of note are the numerous production stills for his movies “Winning,” and “Rollercoaster,” as well as scores by Lalo Schifrin and Quincy Jones and the screenplay and production material of such early TV shows as “Star Trek,” “The Outer Limits,” and “Ironside.”
