Jared Hubbard papers
Description
The papers of Jared P. Hubbard consist of handwritten letters, with transcription, sent from Civil War battlefields to his wife Judith, his mother and his son. They also contain his promotion and discharge notices, a sales deed for a plot in Forest Glade Cemetery, Somersworth, New Hampshire, as well as a signed photograph portrait of him and a pocket sized copy of "The New Testament" (1861).
