Barbara (Patric) Werther Scrapbook of Dartmouth Winter Carnival
Description
The collection contains a scrapbook of Barbara Patric capturing her experience of 1946 Dartmouth College Winter Carnival. Included in the scrapbook are photographs of snow sculptures as well as memorabilia related to trains and travel to Hanover, NH, sporting events, dances and her engagement to Herman Werther (D '46). Barbara Patric was a Cornell student who visited Hanover for Winter Carnival held February 8-10, 1946. The scrapbook is bound in white leatherette with an image of a carriage, horse and driver in front of a dutch colonial house and street gas lamp.
