John R. Scotford working files collection

The collection contains the working files of John R. Scotford including correspondence, clippings, writings, photographs, press releases, and printed material related to projects he was involved with at Dartmouth College. Correspondents include Dartmouth College presidents James Wright, John Kemeny, John Sloan Dickey, and James Freedman as well as Alexander Fanelli, Orton Hicks, Thaddeus Seymour and Stephen Harvard. Projects include the Dartmouth Bicentennial, the Dartmouth Skiway, Taladege Proposal, the Daniel Webster Stamp and the ABC Program. Of note is the information related to his work on getting more students of color into Dartmouth.
