Two page letter from Mr. Martin of Portsmouth, [N.H.] to Mr. Gilman concerning a case of the McClary owners. They have petitioned the legislature of N.H. for compensation for the oppression they sustained by a strict compliance with the law. They are going to appeal to the Federal Courts and Congress.
