Description
The Papers of Samuel Colcord Bartlett concerns the Trustees effort to have Bartlett removed from office. The papers include personal correspondence, transcripts of Bartlett’s hearing and a manuscript written by Bartlett entitled the “Inner History of the Troubles of Dartmouth College.” Letters to and from J. K. Lord and Judge Chase discuss Bartlett’s situation and hearing. Also included is correspondence relevent to the construction of Rollins Chapel.
