Ten-page letter from Jon Kemp in Edinburgh to Jedidiah Morse discussing a new religious paper, the Monitor, his distrust of Wheelock, who is a money-getier, his high opinion of young Lowell (Chas., father of J.R.) who is to meet his brother in London, and then go home as well as The Louisiana Purchase and emigration from Scotland and the expected invasion from France.
