John Slafter indenture
Description
Letter from John Slafter of Norwich, Vt. to Isaac Royce of Norwich, Vt., Indenture of lease for land. John Slafter, Jonas Boardman and Hezekiah Goodrich, as Selectman authorized by an Act entitled, Directing the appropriation of land in this State heretofore granted... to the Society for the propagation of the gospel in foeign parts, lease land. Signed by John Slafter, Jona Boardman, and Issac Royce. Witnessed by Joel Stimson and Calvin Seaver. On reverse: Royce sold land to Nathan Fellows, 1801 April 13, and Fellows sold land to Mills Olcott, 1804 June 4.
