Description

Three-page letter from Luther Clark in New York to David W, Clark informing his brother that he is "in good health as as prosperous as can be expected in these times of general advresity." Requesting financial assistance, hopes to continue his studied, refers to war. There is a relious flavor to this and other letter (Mss 813513). Dr. Clark noted that he answered letter the same day as it was received, April 28 and encloses $ 25.
