E. Parish letter
Description
Letter from E. Parish in Newburyport to John Wheeelock, informing him that no one consieders the presidency vacatn and advises W- to present himself at President at next term. Letter to Deavon Tichner states that there is no way but to succumb or rouse State to sweep Dartmouth clean. Trustees claim that W- admitted there were no personal conflicts is set off by the Trustees secretly arousing country against W-, accusing him of being unorthodox.
