William Goodell letter
Description
Three-page letter from William Goodell of Dartmouth College to Miss Persis Goodale, telling her that he finds himself even more agreeably situated than he expected to be be. Hie Uncle Solomon has requested him to spend vacation at his house and G. plans to teach school while there. There were eight professors of religion in the College before the entrance of his class, and noe there are 17 or 18. There are conference meetings every week. Talks about the need for reformation and the number of souls in need of prayer, etc. Includes envelope. (Photocopy)
