Description
Three-page letter from Samuel Woodbury in Portsmouth to Roswell Shurtleff in Hanover, informing him that William Claggett and the New Hampshire Gazette have espoused Wheelock's cause. The friend of the Trustees in Portsmuth are at a disadvantage through their distance from the college. The "Sketches" since it is free, reached more people than the answer selling at 25 cents. Writer wished to change his profession.
