Two-page letter from Jeremiah Mason in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Mary (Means) Mason, assuring her that their daughter Mary Ann is better. Encloses a letter from ?Ann Webster Coffin and says that from this and other sources he gathers that Daniel Webster is going to Washington. Reminds her to get ready for their own departure, which should be as early as possible in November. Enclosure lacking.
