Abstract

Records of the Office of Educational Research, established in 1938 to study and improve the success of teaching methods and the curriculum at Dartmouth College contain studies, reports, statistics and memoranda documenting the interests and activities of the director, as well as the work of the Committee on Educational Policy, the Committee on Exams, and the Individual and the College Course. The records also cover Clark Horton's work with the Hanover School Board, a study of teacher salaries in Hanover, New Hampshire, and expansion of the Hanover High School.
