Letter from William Harris Crawford of Washington, DC to Robert Brent, telling him that Ruh Smythe, collector of internal revenue in Michigan territories, has sufficient funds to advance "upon drafts upon you" (for payment of troops?) in Alabama territory, moneys may be secured at "St. Stephens from receiver of public money at that place."
