Includes brief itinerary in Ticknor's hand, clippings of the "Boston Daily Advertiser, Oct. 14, 1856 and "The Courier" June 9, 1858 as well as extracts of a letter from Humboldt to L. Agassiz, Sept. 1, 1856.
