Description
Three page letter from John McFarlan of Edinburgh to Dr. Wheelock, telling him that the Society will pay his drafts of 625 pounds on condition that he discharge them on all claims for past expenses. Henceforth he is not to draw on the Society without previous leave. The object of the charity has not in any effectual degree been attained.
