Letter from Daniel Webster in Boston to Nathaniel Appleton Haven, telling him that the action on the policy vs. Jonathan Holland was tried yesterday and a verdict rendered for the plaintiffs, the jury being of the opinion that the Captain of the "Volant" did more than just a liberal notion of self defense would warrant his doing, in realtion to the capture of the "Criterion."
