James Hervey Bingham letter
Description
Four-page letter from James Hervey Bingham in Alstead to Daniel Webster in Boston, telling him that after admission to the bar, writer travelled in Vermont where he met Hotchkiss and William Farrar. Joseph Farrar is under suspicion of passing counterfeit money. Hotchkiss is practicing in Chelsea. There are opening for Webster in Chesterfield and Newport.
