Two-page letter from Samuel Dolbean of Montville, Connecticut to Jean Seabury, telling him that brother Mumford will not get John's letter in time to answer because the roads are blocked with snow. (Mumford moved to another part of Montville last spring.) Gives news of family marriage. Speakes of severe winter and scarcity of grain.
