Commission of the Governor of New Hampshire in which John Tenney Jr. is appointed lieutenant in the 2nd Battalion of the 23rd Regiment of the State Militia. Signed by John Langdon as governor, and Philip Carrigain as secretary of state. Name spelled "Tinney" in manuscript, witness of his oath dated June 25, 1805.
