Description
Letter from Jonathan Porter in Medford, Massachusetts to Daniel Webster, telling him that Messrs Gerald and Gookin called on Porter and offered to settle his demands against Oliver Davis. They had been in Boston and had already discharged some of the demand against Davis. Porter says he would rather have Webster continue the settlement.
