Description
Three-page letter from William Jarvis and Co. in Lisbon to Nicholas Gilman in Washington, regarding business. The British convoy sailed Oct. 17. Enclosing a translation of the edict shutting out British ships. The regiments are ordered to the sea coast. Preparations for the court's going to the Brazils.
