Description
Two-page letter from Stephen Peabody in Milford, New Hampshire to James Thorn, telling him that he had hoped some conciliatory arrangement would be made respecting the suit of Thorn's brother against Mr. Wilkins and himself. Expresses his determination to secure his bail not only from the debt but from cost. He and Mr. Wilkins have dissolved partnership which prevents settlement by note.
