Abstract
The Office of Facilities Planning, Design and Construction evolved from the Office of Facilities Planning, established in 1978. Prior campus design, construction and management had fallen under various standing and ad hoc committees and the Office of the Business Manager. The records include documents from over 140 years of campus planning and construction and comprise correspondence, contracts, surveys, reports, studies, blueprints, plans and maps relating to the development, growth and maintenance of the physical plant and properties of Dartmouth College.
