Hood Museum of Art records May Be Restricted

The collection contains reports, surveys, correspondence, memos, lists, meeting minutes, policies, goals, studies, budgets, and agendas.

The records document the activities of the Hood Museum, including its response to surveys sent out by the American Association of Museums and the American Association of College and University Museum, and the overall workings of the Hood Museum, including documentation on collections, collecting, deacessioning, studies and planning processes.

Documents related to the Hood Museum Overseers and files of Jim Cuno and the directors Derrick Cartwrights, Tim Rubb, Margaret Dyer Chamberlain are also included.

Materials related to the Museum Gift Shop, the Hood education department and the acquisition committee are also included.
