Three-page letter from James Wheelock in Hanover to Jared Sparks in Washington, DC, telling him his recollections of his classmate John Ledyard. He remembers his fondness for dramatics-taking the part of Syphax in "Cato," his dress in winter, a trip to Moose Mt and feels that Ledyard left college no doubt because he could not comply with its strict regulations.
