Description
The papers of Arthur McCandless Wilson contain correspondence, manuscripts, galley proofs, travel diaries, awards, diplomas, certificates, photographs, speeches, lectures, exams and other teaching material, as well as research for his books on Diderot. The material chronicles his career as a professor of history and biography at Dartmouth College and his writings, in particular his works on Diderot entitled "Diderot: The Testing Years" and "Diderot: The Appeal to Posterity."
