Description

The papers of John L. Ames contain primarily correspondence from family and friends, as well as photographs, clippings, articles, newsletters and pamphlets. Ames carried on an extensive correspondence with Dartmouth classmates, military and civilian co-workers, young servicemen, family friends and even mere acquaintances. The collection is rich in diverse viewpoints on a variety of topics.
