Description

Two-page letter from John Cowper to Daniel Webster, asking Webster to "give the inclosed its direction." (Evidently has to do with an embargo on the ship "Apollo.") Webster's note reads" "The difficulty which Mr. Copwer alludes to above, as existing in his case, is, that it seems probable the cargo was fully insured in England."
