Ramon Guthrie papers
Description
The papers of Ramon Guthrie contain correspondence, writings, poetry, financial records, clippings articles, teaching materials, biographical material, oil paintings, sketches, galleys as well as published and unpublished manuscripts and drafts of his books, short stories and poetry. Documents related to the estates of Ramon and his Marguerite Guthrie are also included. The majority of poems contained in this collection appear in his books "Graffiti" (1959), "Asbestos Phoenix" (1968) and "Maximum Security Ward" (1971).
