The papers of Agnes Vernon Bartlett consist of correspondence, essays, war ration books, memos, medical staff meeting minutes, pay slips, travel forms, reports, a speech, booklets, programs, newsletters, articles, newspapers, magazines, clippings, ephemera, and photographs relating to Bartlett’s service as a medical officer in the United States War Relocation Authority (WRA), the internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII and her advocacy for child welfare as a trustee of Brookhaven Home for Boys. Of note are newspapers and publications from WRA internment camps.
