The papers of Robert C. Hill contain correspondence, interviews, essays, pamphlets, brochures, reports, speeches, photographs, articles, briefs and briefing books, news releases, newsletters and clippings, certificates and appointments, meeting minutes, and other published matter relating to his career as a diplomat in Latin America and India. Of note is the material related Castro's takeover of Cuba in 1959 and the material related to the Watergate Affair.
