"The Triumph of Liberty, a dramatic piece, performed Tuesday evening preceding commencement, in the meeting house at Hanover in the vicinity of Dartmouth College by the students of the College, who were members of the United Fraternity." The codex is attributed to Joseph Warren Brackett (1775-1826) who played Adolphus in the play. Daniel Webster played the part of Cormal.
