John Robert Williams (1897-1988), professor of history. Dartmouth College Class of 1919. The collection contains student notebooks from his days as a graduate student in history at Harvard University, teaching materials as a member of the history faculty at Dartmouth College, materials relating to his class reunion activities, and research notes and essays relating to his work as a medieval intellectual historian.
