The Association of Alumni of Dartmouth College was organized in 1854 to represent all Dartmouth alumni, and to maintain their connection with each other and with Dartmouth. The records contain circulars, accounts, constitutions, meeting minutes, reports, correspondence, voters registrations, and guest registers documenting the activities and interests of the Association.

Dartmouth Alumni College began in 1964 as an eleven-day educational program for alumni and spouses, taught by Dartmouth faculty. The program has extended to include Alumni seminars throughout the country, and Alumni College Abroad. The records contain correspondence, memoranda, meeting minutes, curricular information and registration documents relating to the administration and development of the Alumni College, as well as audio recordings of lectures and events.

Formally established in 1914 by vote of the Association of Alumni of Dartmouth College after many decades of alumni fundraising programs, the Alumni Fund campaign raises funds in general support of College activities and scholarships. The records include correspondence, fund raising mailings, reports, meeting minutes, contributor lists and other materials documenting the fundraising activities of the annual Alumni Fund.

The collection contains prize winning papers, which are arranged chronologically as well as a list of recipients of the Benjamin Barge Oratory Prize.

Correspondence, memoranda, reports, financial documents and publications documenting the planning and production of the many events marking the bicentennial of the founding of Dartmouth College in 1769. Also contains some planning documentation for 150th anniversary of the Dartmouth College Case. Records also include meeting minutes for the Bicentennial Planning Committee, the Bicentennial Program Committee and the the Executive Committee.

The Black Alumni Caucus records consists of addresses, biographies, correspondence, meeting minutes, President Kemeny's statement on Black Alumni, Task Force on Structuring Job for Affirmative Action Officers, Conference for Black Alumni Students, black recruitment, summary of members of the operations and draft of the Policy Committee of the Black Caucus and the Dartmouth College Affirmative Action Plan.

The collection contains photocopies of programs, correspondence, publicity, and clippings, documenting the performances of the Black Underground Theatre Arts (BUTA).
