Nelson Pierce Brown (1878-1946), judge on the Massachusetts Supreme Court. Dartmouth Class of 1899. The papers document Brown's Massachusetts Supreme Court career, his college years at Dartmouth, and his relationship with Dartmouth throughout his lifetime. Includes a 24-volume set of trial notes, as well as personal correspondence, bound orations, a college photographic album, newspaper clippings and obituaries, diaries, and a manuscript of a legal glossary Brown authored.
