Stefansson Collection-Polar Notes
Biography
"Polar Notes" was an occasional publication of the Stefansson Collection at Dartmouth College Library. The first issue, in 1959, marked the occasion of Vilhjalmur Stefansson's 80th birthday. Friends and colleagues were asked to contribute papers on polar work in a variety of field. Subsequent issues presented articles on topics ranging from prehistoric burials to petroleum and submarines .
