Biography
Richard Goddard was born on March 3, 1897 in New London, CT. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1921 and in 1927 was hired by the college as Professor of Astronomy. He retired with Emeritus status in 1963 and died in 1981 in Kensington, CT.
