Waterman, William Randall, 1892-1977

 

Biography

William Waterman was born on May 22, 1892 in Providence, RI. He graduated from Brown in 1915 and was hired by Dartmouth College as a member of the History Department in 1921. He was chairman of the department from 1928-1932 and retired as Professor of History Emeritus in 1960. William Waterman died in Hanover, NH on July 28, 1977.
