Waterman, William Randall, 1892-1977

 

William Waterman was born on May 22, 1892 in Providence, RI. He graduated from Brown in 1915 and was hired by Dartmouth College as a member of the History Department in 1921. He was chairman of the department from 1928-1932 and retired as Professor of History Emeritus in 1960. William Waterman died in Hanover, NH on July 28, 1977.

Scope and Contents The oral history interview of William Waterman is comprised of one audiocassette recording and a tape log of the recording. The interview was conducted by Arthur M. Wilson on March 3, 1975 in Hanover, NH. The entire interview runs for approximately one hour.
