Nathaniel Smith Folsom, Dartmouth College Class of 1828; DD Andover Theological Seminary, 1831; Dartmouth honorary 1871. Minister serving in Ohio, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Professor at Lane Theological Seminary, 1833; Western Reserve, 1833-1836; Allegheny College, 1849-1861. Born Portsmouth, NH, March 12, 1806; died Asheville, NC, November 10, 1890
