Biography
William Worthington Dewey was born April 19, 1777. He moved to Hanover, New Hampshire in 1779, when he was two years old. Dewey was a farmer in Hanover until 1860, after which he farmed in Norwich, Vermont. He was also an antiquarian. Dewey died in 1861.

Additionally, several references to the deaths of Hanover, NH residents are included; including Bezaleel Woodward. Multiple references to local weather are recorded as well as marking of the ruling from the United States Supreme Court on the Dartmouth College Case.
