Statement by John Eliot to the General Court of Massachusetts, summarizing circumstances of a raid upon the subjects of Chief Josias by the Mohegans under chief Uncas, and requests, on behalf of the victims, their action in the matter.

Accompanying typed note suggests memorandum may be addressed on the Indian's behalf to the Society for Propagating the Gospel in New England.
