Contains materials relating to Kenneth MacDonald’s perspective and involvement as a lawyer representing several Dartmouth students in their College disciplinary hearings after the spring 1969 takeover of Parkhurst Hall. They include correspondence with Dartmouth administrators, faculty, and clients; official statements, press releases, and memos from the College; official documents from both the students’ New Hampshire court hearings and their hearings with the College Committee on Standing and Conduct (CCSC); handwritten notes from the hearings; news articles and clippings; and other materials used for background research, including references to similar situations at Harvard and Columbia. Many documents are annotated by MacDonald, offering his perspective on the documents and explaining their relevance to the CCSC hearings.
